Hello families and welcome to another year of learning, activity, friendship and fun.

I'd like to introduce our new parents and carers to Community Connect, the College's Parents and Friends Association. Its purpose is to connect the school community to make St Aloysius an even better place for students, families, staff and friends of the College. We organise social activities, provide input, support and representation at College events, and aim to create a vibrant and inclusive community for everyone involved with St Aloysius.

We also nominate a contact parent for each year level. Please don't hesitate to reach out to these individuals if you have any questions at all about school life - that's what we're here for! The 2024 year level contact parents are:

We have already sketched out a great calendar of activities for 2024, and would love parents or carers to come along to one of our meetings to see what Community Connect is about. We meet for one hour, once a month (online and in-person) with the first meeting being at 5:30pm in the College STEM Centre on Monday, 19 February. We hope to see you there!

I have found joining Community Connect to be a great way to meet other parents and staff (who have become good friends), and be more involved in my child's school. If you can't attend meetings but would like to contribute eg. help organise a social night, donate a prize, speak at an event, fundraise, establish a social justice activity, or have ideas on how to make the community better, please reach out to me at president_cc@aloysius.vic.edu.au or any member of Community Connect.
