From the Deputy Principal
Compliance in schools does not mean passivity and amenability, but it is a raising of standards in all areas, as well as conformity to rules and protocols designed to ensure equity and safety for all at the College. Good policy-writing is a responsibility of all schools to maintain registration as an educational institution, and, importantly, they must review and refine these policies and protocols. We ask our parents and carers to annually read our policies, and if there are updates during the interim, we communicate these changes.
Thank you to our new parents/carers with Year 7 students and/or students new to the College for acknowledging the Student ICT Policy. I encourage existing parents and carers to become familiar with this policy as well. Other important policies, accessible via Engage include:

- Parent Code of Conduct
- Child Safe Policy
- Student Wellbeing Policy
- Student Code of Conduct
- Student ICT Policy
- Uniform Policy
In addition, there are Handbooks and Procedures all available through Engage.
Simply go to Engage ‘Welcome Page’ and click on ‘Documents’ and then the information is listed for downloading.
Opening School Year Mass
A special way to celebrate our Faith which steers our Mercy ethos and connects us all will take place at the Opening School Year Mass - St Patrick’s Cathedral, February 28th at 10am. If parents, carers, families are available we would be delighted for you to join the students and staff for this formal and memorable occasion. This event is compulsory for all students so please ensure the Consent 2 Go has been submitted.
