From Year 10
This fortnight kicked off with a very special Year 12 farewell assembly. Ms Farah's inspiring speech encouraged our students to cultivate curiosity and embrace an adventurous mindset. By fostering an open mind, students can truly thrive and gain invaluable knowledge. They were also urged to persevere and seek help whenever needed, reminding them that they are never alone in their journey. As students prepare for their final assessment tasks and upcoming examinations, it's essential to stay focused and organised. This term will fly by, and now is the time to make every moment count. This week during Nourish, several Year 11 students shared their valuable experiences from last year, providing practical strategies to manage exam stress. This was a great opportunity for Year 10 students to learn from their peers. As Year 10 students approach their final week before exams, they are encouraged to put forth their best effort. They are always reminded that it is the journey of experiences and learning that truly matters.

During Nourish this week, we had the privilege of having our 2025 College Co-Captains, Sedora and Olivia, come to our homeroom and answer any questions we had about next year and VCE. They gave us tips on ways to study and revise for exams and tests, as well as reassuring us about next year. I was able to learn about different study techniques and habits that worked for them. In Humanities, we have been working on our summative report on Australia’s well-being and another country of choice, comparing and contrasting the standards between the two countries. We have also been preparing and revising for our upcoming exams next week.

We have been focusing a lot on preparing for our upcoming exams. During class, our teachers have been talking us through how to study and utilise our time properly to get ready. Last Thursday, some Year 10s went to Waverley to compete in the CGSAV softball tournament. They came in second place and had lots of fun!

On Thursday last week, we went to Glen Waverley to compete in the CGSAV Softball Tournament. It was very fun. Even though we reached the Grand Final, we did not win. It was a very good experience to bond with my team. At the tournament, I learned about how to communicate and collaborate in a team with others.
