From Year 11
11A have made me feel very welcome as their new pastoral teacher, following the departure of Mr Del Mastro at the beginning of Term 3. Pastoral class for 11A is always a good place to catch-up with classmates and take a moment to reflect on what we are thankful for, what we strive to improve and how we can embody Mercy values each and every day.

It has been a pleasure working closely with the Year 11s this year as a Pastoral Leader. All students should be proud of the way they handled themselves in their first year as VCE students. They have embraced the many opportunities on offer and have done so with a positive attitude. I look forward to watching them grow over the next 12 months in their final year of schooling!

It has been an absolute pleasure to be the Pastoral Leader of 11B this year. We have enjoyed gathering each morning, taking turns to lead morning prayers, and helping each other with daily organisation but most of all we have enjoyed just chatting about our day ahead and the achievements we have made along the way. I have been proud to witness how the Year 11 students have prepared for their Unit 3&4 Examinations this year and have enjoyed catching up on their progress in homeroom. I wish 11B good luck in their final year next year as Year 12 students and hope they take full advantage of our Step Ahead program!
