From Year 8
The Year 7-9 Presentation Evening was a great success. It was wonderful to see so many students acknowledged and awarded for their hard work over the year. It was also so inspiring for the students watching as this provided motivation to continue to improve their work ethic and confidence. It was also fantastic to see so many students participate in the college choir who performed two songs on the evening.
Year 8 started their farewell day receiving the letters they wrote to themselves on the first day of this year. There was laughter and tears as they read what they had thought about the year ahead and what they had promised themselves.
Our Year 8 level Liturgy and Assembly at the end of the day was beautiful, and everyone sung and participated enthusiastically. Each Pastoral Group celebrated memories they shared by creating a photo collage and thanked their pastoral teachers for their support and care throughout the year. There were many awards presented during our Assembly many prefaced with a drumroll. Congratulations to all the students who received an either a coach'ss, debating science or language award. A special mention to our Student of the Semester, Astha Bharadwaj.
I am extremely proud of this Year Level, their positivity, energy and enthusiasm were infectious. I wish them for their journey into Year 9.
