From Year 9
It has been a smooth transition into Term 2 for the Year 9 students. They are excited to embark on their two new Trimester Elective Subjects and these have been going very well so far. The Artwork, Textiles Jumpers, Visual Communications Logos, STEM Projects, Drama performances, music performances and Food Tech projects all went extremely well in Term One and I strongly believe that the Year 9 students thrive with these hands on chosen subjects.
Students are thoroughly enjoying planning their community projects as part of the Mercy RITES Program. In Pastoral the students are continuing to work on their community boards and decorating their classrooms as part of the competition organised by the Creative House Captains. The Classrooms look fantastic. In Nourish students continue to work on the Respectful Relationships Projects. A list of topics covered this term week by week is as follows:
