Student Wellbeing
As we begin another exciting school year, the Wellbeing Team would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our students and families in the community. Our team are dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of every student within St Aloysius College.
For those that we haven’t met:
- Celina –Counsellor (Full-time) Monday- Friday
- Cate –Psychologist (Part-time) Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- Dom –Psychologist (Part-time) Monday, Tuesday &Thursday
Our team is located in the Barbara Hill Space on campus, where students are welcome to drop in for support, advice, or a quiet space to regulate. We are excited to share that in 2025, this space now includes a sensory room and an arts and crafts room, which many students have already enjoyed using to relax and recharge when they need to.
Our team works collaboratively to ensure students have the support they need. Whether it's a quick check-in or ongoing counselling, there is typically more than one team member available on campus each day.
How We Can Help:
We offer a range of services to help students navigate the challenges of adolescence, including:
- Counselling support
- Learning and education support
- Wellbeing initiatives
Farewell to Dom:
As we begin the new year, we also want to take a moment to say farewell to Dom, who will be leaving St. Aloysius College to pursue new opportunities at the end of this term. Dom has been a valued member of our Wellbeing Team, providing compassionate support and care to many students. We would like to thank Dom for his many contributions and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
We look forward to working with students throughout the year. If you have any questions or would like to connect with the Wellbeing Team, please feel free to reach out to us via SEQTA.
