From the Principal
During this Lenten week, thoughts are firmly fixed on the recent natural disasters in Turkey and Syria, with aftershocks still devastating towns, and on the first anniversary of the war in Ukraine that has left thousands of families mourning loved ones.

College Musical Announced!
From the Deputy Principal
When you ask St Aloysius alumni about their favourite memories of student life at St Aloysius you will not hear about the perfectly prepared learning activity or something a teacher said that changed their life, you will instead receive a humorous classroom incident and always a memory of Camp.
Ash Wednesday
In commencing the beginning of the Lenten season, students and staff participated in a liturgical service for Ash Wednesday. Being marked with a cross of ashes on the forehead, reminds us of the dust from which God made, for as we receive ashes the words recited are, “From dust you came and from dust you will return.”
Sports Update
From Year 7
Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent. On this day ashes are blessed and used to make a sign of the cross on the forehead. This is a sign of penance.

From Year 10
As we approach halfway through the term this week, our Year 10 students are getting involved in various activities and events.
From the Senior Years
Over the past fortnight, students in the Senior Years have had a range of opportunities to experience the various ‘glories’ that come with overcoming obstacles, whether large or small, literal or figurative.
