- Term Three, Issue One
From the Principal
In the rich tapestry of the Catholic Church's liturgical calendar, July emerges as a month filled with celebrations, solemnities, and vibrant traditions.
From the Deputy Principal
It couldn’t possibly be, but it is…., the critics have judged it as the best show ever!
Seussical JR
Seussical JR. does what any good musical should – it entertains. However, it also accomplishes what great theatre does, it challenges the audience to think.
ABC Q+A
On Wednesday, 19th July. St Aloysius College was proud to take 12 student representatives to the ABC studios in Southbank where they joined students from various schools across the state in the audience in a Behind the News (BTN) and Q+A Special, posing questions about the thoughts and concerns of their generation to a panel comprising politicians and youth leaders.
Spirituality and Art
As part of the Year 12 Religious Education course at St Aloysius College, North Melbourne, our senior students have been creating Art Journals linking in with their Spirituality.
Art & Technology
Art and Technology is the integration of artistic and technological elements. It enhances student learning experiences that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. It combines the fields of visual arts and design with various technological tools and applications which allows students to explore and create innovative works that merge traditional art practices with modern digital techniques.

Sport
We hope that all students have had a restful break and are ready to finish off the winter season!
Code Green
Code Green is St Aloysius College's sustainability/environment club, and a sub-branch of the Social Justice group. Sustainability is now a global issue, therefore it is crucial that students have a chance to engage with it, and learn what they can do. Code Green is open to any student who wants to join.
VCE VM
Have you ever tried to make sense of a set of directions posted in a language that you are not familiar with? Navigate solo around busy Melbourne streets in a wheelchair? How about taking public transport with a visual or audible impairment?
Wellbeing
Navigating and making decisions around media consumption for teenagers can be challenging. Common Sense Media is a highly useful website that provides parents, educators, and caregivers with valuable information and resources to make informed decisions about media consumption for children and teenagers.
ACS AFL
I have had the pleasure of coaching the first ever St Aloysius Boys Football Team. Our season started early in Term 2 and will continue throughout Term 3.
ACS Netball
We commence the second half of the winter season next week. So far, the A, B and C teams have been working on their skills and developing to become great competition against the other schools. Last term the girls were learning about working within their teams and how to best work together for the game.
